Rare Gem Designs was born in Florida, where the water is warm, the light hits different, and swimwear isn’t a season — it’s a way of life.
I started this brand because I couldn’t find swimwear that felt like me — intentional, distinct, and made to last beyond one summer. So I designed it myself.
Every piece you find here was designed by my hands, produced in small batches, and built with one rule: if it’s not worth keeping, it doesn’t leave the studio.
Why slow fashion?
Rare Gem isn’t built on volume. We don’t mass produce, we don’t chase trends, and we don’t restock. When a run sells out, it’s gone — because that’s what slow fashion actually means.
Every collection is limited by design. Not as a marketing tactic, but because I believe the best things are made carefully, not quickly. When I release a new style, I make a small number of pieces, give each one the attention it deserves, and send them out into the world.
That’s it. That’s the whole model.
